Tom Grennan

Tom Grennan is a British singer/songwriter.

Born on June 8, 1995, he first discovered he could sing at the age of 17 at a house party, impressing friends with his rendition of The Kooks‘ “Seaside”. Spurred on by them, he began working on original music, initially solely based around his guitar and vocals. Securing a management and record deal in early 2016, he guested on Chase & Status’ track “All Goes Wrong” later that year. He released his debut single, “Something in the Water”, alongside its accompanying EP that October. March 2017 saw the release of the Release The Brakes EP, featuring the single “Praying”. The upbeat “Found What I’ve Been Looking For” was released in July as an introduction to his more developed sound, with “Royal Highness” and “I Might” following in October and December respectively. “Sober” was released in January 2018 as the fourth single from his debut album, Lighting Matches. Released on July 6, it also features the single “Barbed Wire”.
